Synopsis
On a long-haul flight from Melbourne to Athens, two fundamentally mismatched women make a reckless decision. Stella — a brilliant but insecure fashion pattern-maker — agrees to impersonate runway model Vicky at her upcoming high-society Greek wedding. Vicky, exhausted by corporate expectations, escapes into Athens' bohemian underground and falls for an eccentric working-class poet who values her intellect over her face. Meanwhile Stella, pretending to be the glamorous fiancée, is shipped off to an isolated estate on Andros with the groom's cold, analytical brother Sotiris — who proceeds to fall deeply in love with her raw honesty and hidden brilliance. In a crowded Monastiraki market the dual identities collide simultaneously and the entire deception detonates across both families.
