Synopsis

Giannis Voiklis is exceptional at managing complex creative client portfolios and a complete operational infant when it comes to managing his own emotional balance sheet. When his wife Rita triggers an unannounced divorce, his entire domestic and professional infrastructure collapses simultaneously. His 10-year-old daughter Vasoula — possessed of terrifying analytical clarity — formally takes over his corner office and begins coaching him on high-stakes domestic negotiation. His lifelong confidante Makis dispenses catastrophically bad advice. His agency secretary Eudaimonia sabotages daily operations while convinced she is helping and harboring deep family secrets about his father. His sister-in-law Lilika treats the entire fallout as competitive sport, engineering terrible suitors for Rita to ensure Giannis is permanently cleared from the board. A fake romance backfires. A tarot card reader is consulted. Giannis ends up in full military uniform attempting a Freudian power play on his estranged wife. And a handsome doctor named Stefanos emerges as the ultimate corporate threat — until he is discovered double-dealing both sisters simultaneously, triggering an unlikely alliance between Giannis and Lilika that leads to a permanent family merger.

Director's Vision

"Single-camera character comedy with corporate satire precision. Every domestic catastrophe is framed as a business crisis — divorce filings become "operational restructuring," a 10-year-old becomes the chief strategist, and a jealousy scheme becomes the "Jealousy Protocol." The humor emerges from Giannis' complete inability to apply his professional competence to his personal life, surrounded by a support ecosystem of equally unqualified advisors. Sharp, fast-paced C1/C2 English dialogue. 7-episode closed-loop structure engineered for premium SVOD retention. Apple TV+ and Netflix Premium bidding tier."

About the Production

Sacred Family is a 7-episode premium SVOD single-camera character comedy created and executive produced by Constantine Ganosis for GSL Productions LLC, targeting Apple TV+ and Netflix Premium acquisition tier. Reinterpreting a legendary family cohabitation format with razor-sharp corporate satire precision, the series tracks the spectacular personal and professional collapse of a boutique talent agency founder whose wife files for divorce without warning — leaving him dependent on the tactical genius of his own 10-year-old daughter. Produced on a strict 15-days-per-episode factory schedule, the series transforms a high-volume vintage network format into a tightly closed 7-episode comedy asset built for maximum SVOD retention through hyper-witty dialogue, sharp anamorphic single-camera photography, and a fully resolved ensemble arc.
