Synopsis
Set against the misty, cinematic lakeside landscapes of Ioannina and Kastoria, The Minister's Daughter is a high-velocity mistaken-identity farce built on escalating chaos and sharp C1/C2 English banter. Jenny Vrana — wealthy, chaotic, and used to getting her way — panics at a crime scene and introduces herself to by-the-book police officer Marios as a tragically poor civilian. Marios, blind to the fact that his own family is a criminal art-theft syndicate, believes he is protecting an innocent girl while desperately chasing a promotion. Her best friend Lena then walks into the precinct and identifies herself as the Minister's daughter, triggering a catastrophic bureaucratic loop. Across 12 relentless episodes, lies multiply, identities collapse, a gang kidnaps the wrong person, a fake engagement gets crashed, and an underground party produces a live Italian terrorist — until the truth finally detonates everything.
Director's Vision
"Aggressive, closed-loop comedy of errors. Deliberately avoids the cliché sunny Greek island aesthetic in favor of the misty, cold, and visually stunning lakeside environments of Ioannina and Kastoria — a premium European visual palette engineered for the global streaming market. The humor is fast, verbal, and C1/C2 English — closer to a British farce than a network sitcom. Think structured chaos: every episode raises the stakes, every lie generates a new catastrophic complication"About the Production
